Despite being loving, smart, and excited about motherhood, it is a hard journey. You don’t have to go through it alone as new a mom in early postpartum, navigating toddler years, or parenting stress in general.

When clients first come in, they are overwhelmed with motherhood; early postpartum with round the clock feedings, sleep deprivation, and keeping the household afloat. Just not feeling themselves.

They have scary thoughts about things that could go wrong, overthinking about every detail and if they are good enough. They are feeling tearful, detached from their partner and baby. Not to mention possible physical pain and changes in their bodies.

They doubt their abilities as a mother. They are feeling alone, as if they have lost their entire identity to motherhood.

Negative thoughts get in the way of the life they want in so many ways.  Thinking things like, “I am a failure”, “This isn’t what I thought being a mom was going to be”, and “Other mom’s are happy and thriving in this new chapter, so why can’t I?”. Running on empty, physically and emotionally tired; motherhood is not easy.
